Uniting Hearts: Nova Spark and Kropyva's Collaborative Effort to Support Ukrainian Orphans
School supplies for the Ukrainian boarding orphanage arrived earlier this month, just in time for the new school year. These supplies are especially important for the orphanage, which specializes in caring for children with mental disabilities who often require extra support. To everyone's delight, the Ukrainian supplier went above and beyond, adding special gifts for the kids: beautiful table mats. It was a thoughtful gesture that brought warmth to an already significant delivery. We are proud to work with Ukrainian suppliers who have such kind hearts.
The Pishchano-Brodska Special Boarding School is a beacon of hope and care for children with mental disabilities. Established in 1962, this institution has grown into a nurturing home for hundreds of students, providing a supportive environment with modern facilities, including a computer lab and playground. Over its 50-year history, the school has evolved from its modest beginnings to become a place where dedicated educators and caregivers offer unwavering support and love. Their mission is to equip these children with the skills they need to thrive, despite the challenges they face. The commitment of the staff, who work voluntarily, ensures that every child's needs are met with compassion and dedication. This dedication was evident as they prepared to welcome new supplies and gifts from Nova Spark, underscoring the profound impact of collective efforts in making a difference in these children’s lives.
The supplies were ordered in Ukraine by Kropyva, who has been instrumental in helping us on the ground with logistics and direct communication with the orphanage. Both Nova Spark and Kropyva are run entirely by volunteers—there are no paid positions—making every effort a true labor of love. Their dedication ensures that everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Together with Kropyva NPO, we are making a real difference in the lives of these children, providing not just materials but also a sense of care and connection.
