Smile, you have returned the home to the children!

You supported the Dobrodyi Club Campaign “Help the children from an orphanage to restore house after shelling ". Living in their own cozy rooms where there are no holes in the walls from Russian bullets was the dream of all children from an orphanage of a family style run by Oleksii and Elizaveta. And thanks to your support the dream has came true!

The family finished repair work in the house and now all again live in their cozy safe rooms. After all, when little ones came back home after de-occupation of Kyiv region, there were no windows standing, only dozens (or maybe hundreds) of holes from bullets, crushed bathrooms and bedrooms, and a broken the heart. With their own hands, children pulled out projectiles from the walls, which now became family archive and are stored in a canister.

Your donations made it possible for the children to play in their house again where the rain is not dripping on their heads through the hole from projectiles. Father, together with the builders, repaired bathrooms, replaced doors and windows, and patched up and painted places around the house that were destroyed by the enemy. And the children actively helped them.

"This forced house repair will forever remain in their memory. Children who could and wanted to help did everything they were asked by workers and their father," said Mother Elizaveta.

By the way, while the repairs were going on in the house, a new little member joined the family-style orphanage – a 2-year-old Timur. And now Oleksii and Elizaveta are raising 11 children!

"I wish to all Ukrainians to return back home as soon as possible, because it helps a lot with mental wellbeing. And also, for the war to over very soon," said Elizaveta as a farewell.
