“Children in Ukraine are going through a terrible period - the war. At such a time, support of any kind is simply necessary. American schoolchildren who sympathize with Ukrainian children worked hard to raise funds to support friends in Ukraine during this difficult time, and this fundraiser was directed to materials for creativity and handicrafts.
With the collected funds, materials for creativity were purchased and transferred to the Teteriv Children's Boarding Home, which houses boys aged 4 to 18 who need round-the-clock assistance and medical care. There is also a youth department for fosterlings aged 18 to 35, which was created for the purpose of medical and social rehabilitation on the basis of temporary work in workshops, farm work and other areas of work. In the boarding house there are groups of beadwork, soap making, wickerwork, which develop children's fine motor skills and brain activity, that is why it was decided to transfer materials for creativity to this orphanage. The boys from the boarding school are very grateful for such incredible help from faraway America.
We express our gratitude for the sensitivity, sincerity, and support of the American schoolchildren and our friends from Nova Spark, who directly participated in this project.”
